User Feedback Feature - let us know what you think!

We're pleased to announce the release of the User Feedback feature. This should make it much easier for you guys to let us know what is and isn't working for you.

So, if you've spotted any problems/glitches, thought of a cool new feature, have a question, or just want to tell us you think it's awesome, then let us know.

We're really keen to get you guys involved to help shape the future of thingloop.

  1. It seems to work great except that I don't have any friends yet. Can you make a Facebook App for Thingloop? That would really get it started with a bang.

Also, your demo seems to focus on books and DVDs. Many people will think either (a) I like owning those things and supporting the authors or (b) I already have a public library and Netflix.

For urban young people, it would be a huge benefit to know exactly whom to ask for that air mattress or fondue kit. Why not focus on bulky or expensive things such as tools, camping equipment, guest needs, skis, exotic cooking tools or ingredients, club memberships and passes, a free parking spot, etc.? These are things that are often one-time purchases and can be quite bulky to store.

  2. I agree with the need for the facebook app because I to have no friends on here yet and have trouble figuring out how to add them.

Yeah, we've been working on some Facebook integration, and have just released our first phase today!

We're aware of a few usability issues we need to iron-out as well. If you spot anything feel free to let the team know using the 'Feedback' button on the site.

re: books and DVDs, we're totally with you on that point, and these are just given as examples of things people commonly lend. There's no restriction on the type of objects people can share/lend, apart from any relevant national laws that is!

  4. What a great concept!
The website is very simple to use - too simple that I can't find a contact page. I'd love to feature your website on my blog. How can I contact you - the owner - for an interview?

I also can't understand a few fundamental things how to use the website - like you can only lend or borrow among friends? What is the purpose of group? Is there a way to browse the groups instead of typing the names and tags?

I have more questions but don't know where to answers to.

    Thanks!
